Yearly Planning Meeting

  • Will resume weekly meetings back at the academy starting Wednesday, September 5th (7pm).
  • The next committee meeting will be at the academy Wednesday, September 19th (6:30pm).
  • September 21-23 (Friday-Sunday) at Hoyt Campground. Each boy will be taking the merit Badge course on railroading at the Danbury Railroad Museum on the 22nd! (Meet at the Academy for 5:30pm).
  • Youth Protection Training is online. Must be done before October 1st.
  • October 6th, (Saturday) is the clothing fundraiser at Auxiliary parking lot for the American Legion Post 196 on Merwin Ave. (Meet at 9am.)
  • October 12-14 (Friday-Sunday) for the Deer Lake Camporee, Cedar family tent site #8 (Meet at the Academy for 5:30pm)
  • Registration fee is 88.50 per scout, 38.00 for Adults, give to Cindy Lynn before October 31st!
  • Popcorn orders due to Cindy Lynn, no later than October 31st!
  • November 9-11 (Friday-Sunday), Camp Cedarcrest (Cabin) Meet at CAMP for 6pm. Saturday is the “Thanks for Giving Food Drive” at Parsons (Wasson Field) –Leaders will take scouts to and from.
  • TBD–Wreath orders–sometime in early/mid November, and distribution will be by thanksgiving.
